The Role of the Company Secretary: Part 2

Develop your governance knowledge and skills to tackle the core day-to-day aspects of a Company Secretary role

The company secretary and other governance professional roles play a critical role in helping boards to make the right decisions.

This course gives a thorough insight into the responsibilities of the company secretary and governance professional.  It follows on from Role of the Company Secretary Part 1 and identifies frameworks and tools which can support the company secretary or governance professional in performing their role effectively.

Participants will gain confidence in how to approach key areas of governance such as risk management, stakeholder engagement, navigating boardroom dynamics, the induction of new directors and the use of governance frameworks. The course will enhance your understanding of the Company Secretary as an advisor and influencer of the board and the organisation.
