Member event and AGM

This March, we are inviting members to be part of an evening that is designed to create conversation, share insight, and strengthen the connections that sit behind our profession.

Before the Annual General Meeting (AGM), we are hosting a special member event featuring a guest speaker from the Department for Business and Trade. It is a timely opportunity to hear directly about the Government’s proposals on non-financial reporting, and to discuss what they could mean across sectors, roles and career stages.

In person arrival registration from 16:00 at Saffron House so you have time to check in and meet other members before we begin.

This session is designed to be more than a briefing. It is a chance to learn together, ask questions, and connect with peers who understand the realities of modern governance, from regulatory change to rising expectations of transparency and accountability.

AGM: your opportunity to participate

Following the member event, the CGIUKI AGM will take place at 17:45 as a hybrid meeting with the opportunity to join online. The AGM is your chance to review our progress, consider the Annual Report and Financial Statements, and take part in the formal business of the Institute.

After the AGM, refreshments will be served for those attending in person, offering a final opportunity to continue conversations and build relationships.
