Mr Julien Guillot-Sestier, Founder, Turn Off The News & Turn Off Communications

Julien Guillot-Sestier

Julien Guillot-Sestier, started his career journey in Paris. After dipping his toes into the world of audiovisual production, he found his true passion in the digital media landscape when he joined a digital agency.

In 2010, Julien traded the City of Lights for the sun-kissed shores of Mauritius. There, he played a key role in the digital transformation of Beachcomber Hotels, launching social media channels for the group and its resorts. This was just the beginning of an exciting adventure that took him to Mauritius's leading advertising agency, where he spent seven years as the head of the digital communication department and brand strategist.

With a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years, Julien now thrives as a Hyper Freelance, providing comprehensive solutions to elevate clients' digital communications through social media, digital media buying, and email marketing. His expertise goes beyond this, as he is also the founder and manager of Turn Off The News, a daily newsletter that distils Mauritian and international news into easily digestible nuggets.

As a forward-thinking digital professional, Julien is committed to empowering others to harness the power of technology. He provides training on using ChatGPT, the trendy conversational artificial intelligence, helping others unlock the potential of these groundbreaking tools.
