Since joining JTC Group, Vicki has taken on responsibility for leading a high-performing team of 60 across Jersey, South Africa, and Mauritius, delivering robust compliance and strategic leadership in a dynamic regulatory environment. Thomas Becket
Tom started his journey in the wealth management industry in 2004.
He joined the company as part of the acquisition of Punter Southall Wealth (PSW) where he had been the Chief Investment Officer. The PSW investment service had won awards and had a long track record of achieving their clients’ financial aims.
Today, together with Richard Champion Tom now co-leads the investment process, asset allocation decisions and multi-asset model portfolio construction and is responsible for fixed interest research. He also spends a lot of time working with internal financial planners and external contacts to explain the investment proposition. He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with an MA (Hons) in Classics in 2003.

Gireeja Bhoobun ACG
Gireeja Bhoobun is a Trust Supervisor in Private Wealth at PraxisFM Trust Ltd with experience administering a wide range of offshore trust and company structures. She has worked across Employee Benefit Trusts, fund administration, and private wealth, supporting trust lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, CDD processes, and governance coordination. Her career spans London, Mauritius, and Jersey, and has worked in multi jurisdictional fiduciary practices and governance standards.
Gireeja holds an MSc in Corporate Governance (CGI Qualifying Programme), an LLM in Corporate and Insolvency Law, and a BA (Hons) in Law and Management. Her academic grounding in governance frameworks, ethics, regulation, and board effectiveness underpins her practical fiduciary experience. She also has experience working within a corporate governance analytics team and her background as a former lecturer in Governance and Ethics.

Richard Champion
Richard joined the company in 2015 from Sanlam Private Wealth where he was Chief Investment Officer.
Today, alongside Tom Becket he co-leads the investment process, asset allocation decisions and multi-asset model portfolio construction and is responsible for equity research. He is also in charge of integrating tailored portfolio clients into the investment process.
He has extensive experience structuring risk-profiled portfolio architectures. In addition to his experience with multi-asset portfolios, he has managed global, European and UK equity portfolios for a variety of institutional and high net-worth client investors.

Jess anchors the flagship 6pm and 10.30pm programmes for ITV News on Channel Television based in Jersey. You'll also find her reporting live when a big story breaks, working on special news investigations, features and hosting events.
Jess has more than 20 years of journalistic experience in regional, national and international news and during her career has worked for 24 hour stations Sky News and the Moscow based Channel, RT.
In 2018 she won a Royal Television Society Award and an ITV News Gold Award for her series of reports, which followed a Falklands War veteran who returned to the islands for the first time since the conflict in 1982.
Jess has a law degree from Trinity College, Cambridge and a post graduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University.

Chris Eaton
Chris Eaton is the CTO for Advisory and leads Risk Assurance in the Channel Islands. He specialises in cyber governance, technology risk, privacy and business resilience, advising financial services, public sector organisations and regulators.
Chris has lived and worked in London, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and the Channel Islands, supporting banks, insurers, funds and administrators. He has also assisted government bodies and regulators to establish cyber and privacy strategy, and to develop related policies and codes of conduct. Chris’ current focus is the practical governance of cyber security and AI adoption, including operating models, assurance approaches and board reporting.
He holds certifications including AIPP AI Governance Professional (AIGP) and is certified across leading cyber, resilience and AI governance standards (including ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 42001). Chris holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool and is currently completing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence. His current research looks at the security implications of agentic, tool-connected AI and integration patterns such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which can expand organisational attack surface without strong governance.

Tom is responsible for driving strategic, technological and behavioural change across the Mourant Group to ensure it continues to deliver exceptional service to our clients globally now and in the future. He also provide leadership to our business services teams, amongst other responsibilities.
Alongside his role at Mourant, Tom sits on the Digital Board of the National Theatre based in London and chairs the board of trustees of a successful and thriving secondary school, Sir Thomas Rich's, based in Gloucester, UK. Heather-Anne Hubbell
Heather Anne Hubbell is a governance, risk and regulatory specialist with more than 30 years’ experience supporting boards, committees and regulated entities across Jersey, the UK and international financial centres. She serves as Scheme Secretary to the States of Jersey Teachers Superannuation Fund and the Public Employees Pension Fund, overseeing governance frameworks, board cycles and stakeholder engagement. Heather Anne also provides director level governance training, including CGI UK courses through BPP International, and advises organisations on strengthening governance effectiveness, regulatory compliance and board level decision making.

Lenka Lamont MsC, ACG
Lenka was born and raised in the former Czechoslovakia and, from a young age, was eager to explore other cultures and languages. She left Czechoslovakia at the age of 19, moving to Guernsey where she began her career with the Bank of Bermuda (now HSBC). There, she initially worked within the bank’s operations before progressing into the fund administration of large renewable energy and real estate portfolios. After relocating to Jersey, she completed her Master’s degree in Corporate Governance, which deepened her interest in governance and led her towards roles supporting regulated boards. Since joining Apex, Lenka has embraced its multicultural working environment and the varied opportunities it offers, particularly in governance and client board advisory. Her passion lies in working collaboratively with her team, both locally and across jurisdictions, where she brings her knowledge, experience, and commitment to high quality governance into every client engagement.

Annie Minns
After completing an undergraduate degree at Cardiff University, Annie began her career in the Welsh capital before returning home to Jersey to begin a dedicated 21-year tenure at a leading independent trust company.
Annie started at the firm in a junior capacity within the client service department and rose to Client Manager, where she led a team specialising in offshore pension plans and private companies.
In 2024, Annie used her experience in trust and company administration to transition into governance, and completed the CGI Foundation Programme the same year.
Annie is now undertaking the CGI Qualifying Programme and will also soon be completing the CMI Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership.
Annie holds a STEP diploma in International Trust Management, and a 2:1 degree in Psychology and Criminology.

Joe Moynihan
With a career in financial services spanning four decades, Joe has a strong commitment to the future success of the industry in Jersey.
Joe commenced his professional life in the banking sector, rising to the position of CEO of Jersey and the Isle of Man for a major bank, which included responsibilities for trusts and investments. In recent years, he expanded his focus as Director of Financial Services within the Government of Jersey, where he worked closely with industry and regulator to ensure the island’s position as a leading international finance centre. Before joining Jersey Finance in February 2019, Joe was working to establish high-reputation regulatory frameworks and business models for IFCs in the Middle East and Africa. He is a board director of the World Alliance of International Finance Centers (WAIFC).

Based in London, he is responsible for developing the profile of the Institute and the governance profession with members, regulators, policymakers, employers and other stakeholders by delivering thought leadership, lobbying campaigns and professional guidance promoting strong governance as the vital ingredient for success in organisations.
Peter, who joined the Institute in 2013, has more than 40 years’ experience working on governance.
