Over the past six years I have had the extraordinary privilege of guiding the Institute as Chief Executive. Now I am stepping down, I can reflect on what a period of profound change it has been.

Uncertainty has brought governance into the foreground. Experience from Mauritius and the UK shows why strong governance, built on professional capability and leadership, is essential to trust, confidence and long-term success.

In order to support those responsible for ensuring their Board is reviewed professionally, the Institute has created a directory of accredited board performance reviewers. These providers have demonstrated an exemplary service in the undertaking of board performance reviews and are aligned to our Code of Practice.

CGIUKI will accredit Henley’s MA Board Practice and Directorship Qualification, and award Affiliated Member status to students who successfully complete the programme.
