ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute has today announced the full line-up of speakers for its 2020 Governance Guernsey conference, which is taking place on 21 October, one of the few live conferences taking place in the British Isles, thanks to strong management of COVID by Guernsey’s government.

With the passing into law of the Charities Registration and Regulation Act 2019, many charities on the Isle of Man are taking stock of what they do, how they are governed and what the future may bring. The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland is holding a lunchtime talk, therefore, aimed at those working in the charity sector in the Isle of Man and also those working in the field of governance in general.

Designed for those on the journey to becoming a Chartered Governance Professional, our Health Service Governance study text provides the knowledge and skills necessary to act as an adviser to governing bodies across the NHS in England. This includes developing good governance practices for all obligations of NHS organisations in England, covering not only legal duties, but also applicable and recommended standards of best practice.
